Workshops and Classes
Hands-on machine embroidery workshops, from getting-started sessions through to specialty techniques. I run regular in-person workshops and events, with online options for those further afield. And if you buy a machine through EmbroideryMachines.co.nz, training comes with it, because a machine that stays in its box breaks my heart a little.
One-on-One Tuition
Sometimes you just need an hour with someone who has already made every mistake you are about to make. I have made most of them at least twice, and I took notes. Personal tuition is tailored to your machine, your projects and exactly where you are stuck.
Mentoring
For embroiderers building a business, I offer mentoring drawn from actually running one. Several, in fact. Pricing, production, quality, customers: the unglamorous things that decide whether an embroidery business works. I have lived them all, and I am happy to share what I have learned the hard way so you do not have to.
Speaking
I speak at events, guilds, clubs and conferences about machine embroidery, creative business and building community. If you would like a speaker who lives and breathes this craft and does not need a microphone to show her enthusiasm, let’s talk.
Free Community
The NZ Machine Embroidery Addicts community is where thousands of Kiwi embroiderers share wins, solve problems and meet up. It is free, friendly and mildly addictive. The name was not an accident.
